How to service the Windshield Washer Pump on 2000 Chevrolet Prizm?

You need to take out the bolt holding the windshield washer solvent container and put it aside to reach the washer pump. Disconnect the washer pump electrical plug and empty the washer fluid from its system. Pull the washer pump out of the washer solvent container after disconnecting the windshield washer nozzle hose. Secure the washer pump to the washer solvent container before fixing the windshield washer nozzle hose to it. Attach the washer pump electrical connector and put the washer solvent container back into the vehicle by fastening it with the bolt tightened to 5.5 N.m (49 lb in). Place washer solvent into the solvent storage unit.
