A taped flat bladed tool needs to be used for uncoupling the front side door accessory switch mounting plate from the front side door trim. Start by removing the front side Door Lock Switch along with the mounting plate using the tabs . Then disconnect the electrical connector which belongs to the front side Door Lock Switch. Start by inserting the front side Door Lock Switch into the mounting plate so its retaining tabs fully secure. The last step involves reattaching the front side door accessory switch mounting plate onto the front side door trim .
