How to replace the front door jamb switch on Chevrolet Prizm?

A mechanic begins the front door jamb switch replacement project by removing the rubber boot from the front door jamb. First separate the one mounting bolt before removing the switch from the door jamb and disconnect the electrical connector and separate the switch from the vehicle. The installation requires users to connect the front door jamb switch electrical connector followed by installing the rubber boot over the front door jamb switch. Put the switch back inside the door jamb then fasten it with the mounting bolt while tightening it to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
