The pnp switch installation requires its placement on the transaxle using 2 bolts at initial stages before performing a complete bolt tightening procedure. Install the lock plate and manual shaft nut onto the pnp switch , tightening the manual shaft nut to 6.9 nm (61 inch lbs.) place the lock plate behind the manual shaft nut before securing the lock plate and the manual shaft nut onto the pnp switch. Afterward, install the pnp switch onto the transaxle by using 2 bolts without completely tightening them. Advance the pnp switch by directing the neutral basic line into the pnp switch sleeve grooves and tighten the pnp switch bolts to 5.4 nm (48 inch lbs.). The manual shaft needs its manual lever attached along with 1 lock washer and 1 nut secured with 12 nm (106 inch lbs.) torque. Secure the pnp switch electrical connector and the shift select cable to the manual lever by using 1 lock washer and 1 nut . Adjust the shift select cable and reinstall the left splash shield using its 6 bolts while tightening each bolt to 5 nm (44 inch lbs.). Click the connector cover and lower the vehicle down before reattaching the negative cable then applying park brake and implementing wheel blockers. To verify
