  A: Before working on the Wiper Switch you must disable sir and remove the lower trim cover screw which hides two more screws under the Steering Wheel accessible when rotating it. Begin by detaching the lower trim cover of the Steering Column and then disconnect the upper trim cover screw and upper trim cover. Since the switch assembly needs replacement when base damage is found you must replace the turn signal headlamp and windshield washer switch at the same time. Unplug the wiper/washer switch electrical connector. Next remove its two screws and switch. After attaching the wiper/washer switch to the Steering Column apply the two screws for installation. Connect the wiper washer switch electrical plug and insert the upper trim cover over the Steering Column. Secure the viewing window with one screw.
