  A: To work on the windshield washer switch you need to disable sir functions before starting. Push the Steering Wheel to see two lower trim cover screws beneath plus one lower trim cover screw to take out. Remove the Steering Column lower trim before using a screwdriver to take out both the Steering Column upper trim cover screw and upper trim cover. Check the base area for damage. In case of problems replace the turn signal, headlamp and windshield washer switch at once. Use tools to pull off the wiper/washer switch electrical connector from its port. After that, loosen and remove the two screws and switch. Fit the wiper/washer switch onto the Steering Column and fasten it using both screws. Secure the Steering Column upper trim cover onto its position by connecting its electrical connector then fastening the screw. Mount the Steering Column lower trim cover by its three screws after reactivating the sir system.
