How to replace the Windshield Wiper Switch on 2001 Chevrolet Prizm?

In order to switch the windshield washer switch, deactivate the SIR System. Unscrew the lower trim covers beneath the steering wheel, the steering column lower and upper trim covers. Check against possible damage; in case damaged, change switch assembly. Connect the electrical connector again, and then fix the trim covers and then turn on the SIR System.
