Begin by opening the hood before disconnecting the back up lamp switch electrical connector . Take out the back up lamp switch from the transaxle case during the next installation step. Before installing the new back up lamp switch apply thread sealant to its threads and secure it to the transaxle case at 20 N.m (15 lb ft). Reconnect the back up lamp switch electrical connector then close the hood.
