Start switch replacement by taking out the IP drivers knee bolster reinforcement. The first step requires removal of the plastic retainer followed by the left I/P outer air outlet duct. You must disconnect the cruise control release switch electrical connector before loosening the locknut on the same switch. Unscrew the cruise control release switch counterclockwise until it comes loose from the clutch pedal bracket. You must mount the new cruise control release switch into the clutch pedal bracket by screwing it clockwise and tightening it with the locknut. Return the cruise control release switch electrical connector to power before reinstalling the left I/P outer air outlet duct with its plastic retainer. The last step includes reinstalling the IP drivers knee bolster reinforcement.
