How to Safely Remove and Repair Coil Springs on 2000 Chevrolet Tracker?

The coil spring repair process starts with vehicle elevation and support. Disturb the combined tire and wheel assembly. Tool handling of the coil spring requires proper tools for the lower Control Arm because its high pressure condition means the spring can fly as a dangerous object during improper handling. Support the lower Control Arm with a jack before you detach the ball stud nut. To disconnect the lower Control Arm ball stud from the knuckle use universal steering linkage puller (J24319-B). You must take out the lower Control Arm's stabilizer shaft nut together with its washer and bushing to free the stabilizer shaft link from the Control Arm. During floor jack descent remove the coil spring.
