Reserve this procedure for servicing antenna cables which require extension cable removal from roof bolt then separation of cable from instrument panel carrier before extracting antenna cables and extension from the vehicle chassis. Install by feeding the antenna cable extension together with the antenna cable into the vehicle while fastening the antenna cable to the instrument panel carrier. Refer to the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions before installing the antenna cable extension to the roof bolt while tightening the bolt to 3.2 N.m (28 lb in). To complete the installation you must place the headliner front and both the right cowl side trim panel and right instrument panel insulator before fitting the radio in place.
