How to replace the blower motor resistor on 2000 Chevrolet Venture?

Start replacing the Blower Motor Resistor by removing the right instrument panel cover then disconnecting its connectors from the metal body. Keep the forward mounting screws partially loosened since the Blower Motor Resistor/relay space is designed with slots for restricted access while removing only the back mounting screw. Handle the Blower Motor Resistor/relay card with care because it is built from ceramic material. Follow the fastener notice to install the Blower Motor Resistor card into its positions then screw it down. You should first install the rear screw with 1.9 n.m (16 lb in) torque before setting both front screws to match. Reattach the Blower Motor electrical connector to both the resistor/relay parts before plugging the resistor/relay into the motor. Add back the insulator panel on the right side last.
