How to Replace a Blower Motor Resistor on 2001 Chevrolet Venture?

Remove the Blower Motor Resistor by removing the right side ip insulator first. Unplug the electrical connector from the Blower Motor while you take the mounting screws out to eject the Blower Motor away from the hvac module assembly. Next, remove the electrical connector from the Blower Motor Resistor and do not to only loosen both forward Blower Motor Resistor mounting screws as the mounting holes are slotted. Remove the rearward Blower Motor Resistor mounting screw and remove the Blower Motor Resistor from the hvac module assembly. For installation, check the Blower Motor Resistor back into the hvac module assembly and replace the rearward Blower Motor Resistor mounting screw torquing all of the screws to 1.8 n.m (16 lb in). Replace the Blower Motor into the hvac module assembling, securing with mounting screws after connecting the electrical connector to Blower Motor Resistor and tighten the screws to 1.8 n.m (16 lb ft). Lastly, attach the electrical connector to the Blower Motor and reattach the right side ip insulator.
