    Q:
How to Replace a Blower Motor Resistor Assembly on Chevrolet Venture? Posted by Customer
    A:
The procedure starts with ip insulator removal from the right side followed by electrical connector detachment from the Blower Motor. After disconnecting the Blower Motor electrical connector from the hvac module assembly remove the mounting screws to extract the Blower Motor from its assembly. Follow protocol by disconnecting the electrical connector from the Blower Motor Resistor but only loosen both forward Blower Motor Resistor mounting screws since the mounting holes are slotted. First loosen the forward mounting screws of the Blower Motor Resistor then remove the rearward mounting screw to extract the Blower Motor Resistor out of the hvac module assembly. Place the Blower Motor Resistor within the hvac module while installing the rearward mounting screw and tightening all screws to 1.8 n.m (16 lb in). Connect the electrical connector to the Blower Motor Resistor and reinstall the Blower Motor inside the hvac module assembly by using mounting screws tightened to 1.8 n.m (16 lb ft). You need to do two things at last: reattach the electrical connector to the Blower Motor and reinstall the right side ip insulator.
