How to replace the Idle Control Valve on 2000 GMC Safari?

In order to change Idle Control Valve, unplug the negative battery cable and take off the engine cover. Disconnect harness connector and mounting bolts, but do not make the pintle lazy. Wipe the surfaces of the seals and check the O-ring damages. Install a new valve, lubricate O-ring and re-connect everything. Adjust the position of the pintle.
