To maintain the fuel pressure regulator, disconnection and release of the negative battery cable and fuel system pressure. Eliminate upper manifold assembly. Check the filter screen against contamination; change regulator, where necessary. Take the regulator apart, lubricate new O-rings and put it back. Last but not the least, install the upper manifold again and reconnect the battery cable.
