How to service and repair the Vehicle Speed Sensor on 2000 GMC Savana 3500?

Disconnect the speed sensor plugs from the system then take out the bolts that hold the vehicle speed sensor. Examine both vehicle speed sensors and their brackets after removing them from their housing. Put the vehicle speed sensors onto the case with bracket assemblies and set them in place in line with the Fastener Notice from Service Precautions. Put vehicle speed sensor bolts in with an 8 mm socket and turn them to 11 Nm (96 inch lbs.) before plugging in the speed sensor connectors again.
