How to service the knock sensor on 2000 GMC Savana 3500?

The Knock Sensor service process begins with disconnecting the negative Battery Cable and raising the vehicle. Use a wrench to disconnect the Knock Sensor connector before removing the Knock Sensor from the cylinder block . Insert and tighten the Knock Sensor into the cylinder block with a torque of 19 n.m (14 lb ft). Seal the Knock Sensor harness connector before lowering the vehicle then restore power from the negative Battery Cable.
