    Remove the negative Battery Cable before trying to service the Knock Sensor. After that, lift the vehicle and take off the connection for the Knock Sensor harness. After that, take out the Knock Sensor (2) from the cylinder block (1). To install, put the Knock Sensor back into the cylinder block and make sure it is tightened with 19 n.m (14 lb ft). Then, attach the Knock Sensor harness connector, bring the vehicle back to the ground and lastly secure the negative Battery Cable.

Then, you need to take out the engine cover and disconnect the ks harness connector. Next, get rid of the ks bolt and remove the ks . To install, first install Knock Sensor bolt and bolt, tighting the Knock Sensor bolt to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). One then connects the ks harness connector and then reinstall the engine cover.

Reinstall the knock sensor harness connector, lower it, and refill the cooling system.
