Then, remove the two bolts that hold the wiper motor in place and pull out the wiper motor from the wiper drive system module. For installation, start by fitting the wiper motor onto the wiper drive system module with the two bolts, torquing it to 8 N.m (71 lb in). Attach the drive link to the wiper motor crank arm with the help of the Wiper Transmission Installer (J 39529) and set the wiper drive system module in their place on the vehicle and lock them in place with the four bolts and tighten them to 8 N.m (71 lb in). Disconnect the electrical connector from the wiper motor and replace the air inlet grille panel as well as the wiper arms. Lastly, use the wipers to test their functionality.
