    A: To take out the delphi cs 130d generator, first, pull battery negative link, demount the engine compartment cross vehicle brace and the Drive Belt from the generator. Set the coolant recovery reservoir to avoid, and then remove the bolts from generator 1,2,3, and break off the electrical connector. Move the protective boot out of the way from the terminal of the generator output bat, take the generator output bat nut off, disconnect the battery (positive) lead from the generator, then remove the generator itself. For installation, place the generator to the engine, install the battery (positive) lead and the generator output bat terminal nut, tighten it to 20 n.m (15 lb ft). Press the protective boot on the generator output bat terminal inst la the electrical connector, the insert out the generator bolt and generator bolt, finger starting them without tightening. Then, install the generator pivot bolt and start it using a finger too. Perform the work according to the mandatory torque sequence: first, tighten the generator pivot bolt to 50 n.m (37 lb ft), then tighten generator bolt to 50 n.m (37 lb ft), then finally tighten generator bolt to 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Once you have secured the generator, reinstall the coolant recovery reservoir, the Drive Belt, and the engine compartment cross brace and replace the battery negative cable.
