Continuous the procedure by first uncovering the battery positive stud and lead nut of the junction block followed by cable detachment from the underhood block. One must lift and properly stabilize the vehicle before removing the front lower air deflector. Proceed by removing the battery (positive) cable from the starter motor BAT terminal while releasing the battery cable retainers from the radiator support. The battery positive cable must be taken out from its wiring harness conduit after removing retainers. You should install the battery positive cable by putting it into the wiring harness conduit before attaching the battery cable retainers to the radiator support. Secure the starter solenoid BAT terminal nut at 10 N.m (84 lb in) but verify the connection of the battery positive cable to the starter motor BAT terminal. Attach the front lower air deflector to the vehicle then lower it to the ground and fasten the battery positive cable junction block lead nut to the underhood accessory wiring junction block while tightening it to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Start by attaching the remote positive stud cover then connect the battery positive cable to the battery term and tighten its terminal bolt to 15 N.m (11 lb ft). Finish the procedure by connecting the battery negative cable.
