How to replace the rear side door window motor on 2001 Buick Century?

The first step in rear side door Window Motor replacement consists of taking out the rear door water deflector. All Window Motor screws enter essential slots at the inner door panel which means keeping them partially in place while working. Remove the three screws securing the rear door Window Motor while directing the rear door Window Motor from the opening of the inner door to expose both the electrical connector and the motor screws. Remove the rear door Window Motor electrical connector before you unscrew its motor screws. The procedure requires removal of the rear door Window Motor together with its bracket from the rear Window Regulator. Position the rear door Window Motor alongside its bracket onto the vehicle rear door regulator before securing the motor screws which need a torque of 6 n.m (53 lb in). Fasten the electrical connector and place the motor within the door before inserting it into key slots that exist along the inner door panel. Apply hand pressure on the rear door Window Motor screws before tightening them to 10 n.m (89 lb in). For concluding the installation process attach the rear door water deflector.
