How to replace the front or rear door window motor on Buick Century?

You need to take away the door trim panel as your first step when changing the front or rear door Window Motor. The power Window Motor gets easier access through positioning the water deflector so you can remove its door mounting screws before disconnecting the motor electrical connector. Kennedy motors encourages users to remove the screws holding the motor to the door and guide the motor assembly into the door opening to remove the motor-to-window regulator mounting screws. Install a new power Window Motor along with a door mounting bracket onto the window regulator by fastening the screws to 6 nm (53 lb in). After fastening the motor electrical connector reposition the motor to the door by installing the mounting screws with 10 nm (89 lb in) torque then replace the water deflector on the door. The installation requires you to discard the old door trim panel retainers as you install new retainers before putting on the door trim panel. The conclusion of installation involves placing the new retainers on the door trim panel followed by installing both components and checking the power window functions.
