How to Replace an Antenna Cable for Extension Cable on 2001 Buick LeSabre?

Start by removing the radio unit then disconnect the antenna cable. Remove the right side windshield garnish molding followed by the upper instrument panel trim pad. Sever the connection between the coaxial cable connector and remove cable clips from instrument panel support. The antenna cable needs to be removed from the vehicle at this point. Connect the coaxial cable connector first before attaching the cable clips back onto the instrument panel support. Induce the antenna cable through the radio cavity's access outlet then join it to the radio hardware before reframing the radio assembly. Complete installation by placing the upper instrument panel trim pad together with the right side windshield garnish molding.
