  A: To remove the upper Intake Manifold, start by removing the fuel injector sight shield, shutting off the manifold vacuum supply, and disconnecting the evaporative emission canister purge valve while securing hose ends to air inlet grill. Next, disconnect the right Spark Plug Wires from the ignition module and put them aside, and then remove the fasteners of MAP Sensor and engine wiring harness heat shield, before taking off this heat shield. Proceed to remove the Fuel Rail mounting bolts and the Fuel Rail with injectors, then go ahead and remove Throttle Body support bracket and bolts and the bracket. Lift off the air cleaner intake duct and then remove the nuts holding the Throttle Body to the upper Intake Manifold and take it away after removing the Throttle Body. Intake Manifold upper bolts and the Throttle Body Gasket must be removed while removing the upper Intake Manifold. It is crucial to clean and inspect the upper Intake Manifold and the bottom of the Intake Manifold mating surface. Install a new Throttle Body Gasket to the upper Intake Manifold, install the Throttle Body, and fasten it with nuts tightened to 10 nm (89 inch lbs.). The air cleaner intake duct, throttle body support bracket, and its bolts are to be reinstalled, and until a lean of 10 nm (89 inch lbs.). Next, install the Fuel Rail assembly, engine wiring harness heat shield, and fasteners, which have to be tightened to 10 nm (89 inch lbs.). Finally, reinstall the MAP Sensor, connect the right spark plug cables to the ignition module, install evaporative emission canister purge valve, reconnect manifold vacuum source, and end up by reinstalling the fuel injector sight shield.
