The first step for installation is to put in the fuel filler pipe before applying service precautions to fasteners. Fasten the fuel filler pipe clamp with torque to 3.5 n.m (31 lb in). Install the Fuel Tank filler pipe ground wire bolt at 9 n.m while tightening it to 80 lb in. First remove the wheel house filler pipe opening cover then lower the vehicle while filling the tank with fuel. After turning on the ignition for 2 seconds and then off for 10 seconds, repeat the on status check for fuel leaks on the vehicle.
