How to replace the front parking brake cable on 2001 Buick Regal?

Customers should start with disconnecting the left side instrument panel insulator before removing the left side carpet retainers and the lower center pillar trim panel on the left side. Secure access to the parking brake cable by lifting the carpet after which you should extract it from the park brake cable guides. Start by correctly raising the vehicle before supporting it properly. Then disconnect the parking brake cable from its connection at the equalizer. Proceed to take out the front cable when the car is lowered and the cable button end is removed from the parking brake lever clevis. The new front cable installation process includes feeding it into the vehicle before attaching it to the parking brake lever. Fasten the cable button inside the lever clevis while adding the cable button assurance clip. Reraise the vehicle and properly stabilize it before tightenting the equalizer nut to remove cable slack before you lower the vehicle.
