  A: The first step in air cleaner replacement involves moving the coolant line out of the air cleaner housing top area. To access the air cleaner, first loosen the hose clamp that attaches the air duct to the housing and then remove the screws surrounding the air cleaner lid. Begin the replacement process by first removing the air duct from the unit then taking out the Air Filter. First clean both the base and lid of the air cleaner before placing the Air Filter into the air cleaner lid. Set the air cleaner lid and filter together in position while making sure the air duct properly engages when placing the assembly unit back in place. Secure the air cleaner housing lid screws along its perimeter along with ensuring a proper connection between the air duct and the air cleaner lid. Secure the air intake duct hose clamp to 3 n.m torque before placing the coolant line back into its retainers on top of the air cleaner housing lid.
