A new o-ring must go on the evap purge valve prior to positioning the evap Canister Purge Valves on the Intake Manifold while keeping the throttle partially open. Secure the evap Canister Purge Valves retaining bolt by tightening it to 12 n.m (106 lb in). Follow this procedure by closing the throttle before connecting the evap purge pipe and the evap Canister Purge Valves electrical connector last.
