After that, uninstall the retaining bolt from the evap purge solenoid before extracting the valve from the intake manifold. Start by installing a replacement o-ring to the evap purge solenoid then partially open the throttle prior to placing the evap purge solenoid inside the intake manifold. After placing the new o-ring on the evap purge solenoid you should insert its retaining bolt and torque it until it reaches 10 n.m (88 lb in). The throttle must be partially opened while you join the evap purge solenoid hose and electrical connector to their respective points on the solenoid.
