  A: Begin by disengaging the cruiser control cable then disconnect the electrical connector interface from the cruise control module assembly . Nuts and a bolt must be removed from the connection between the cruise control module and bracket assembly. The passenger side of the dashboard now has both pieces free to work on. First detach all fasteners that link the cruise control module bracket to the module before removing the module from its mount point. Fit the cruise control module onto the cruise control mounting bracket before you secure it with bracket fasteners by tightening them to 7.5 N.m (66 lb in). Secure the cruise control module assembly to the body by tightening the existing 2 nuts and one bolt to 9 N.m torque (80 lb in measurement). Reconnect the electric connector to the cruise control module while repositioning the cruise control cable.
