To put in the new power steering pressure hose begin by mounting it on the vehicle and attaching it to the frame bracket while keeping in mind the fastener instructions from service precautions. The first step involves attaching the hose to the power steering gear then tightening it to 27 nm (20 ft. Lbs.) before installing the power steering pressure hose bracket and retaining nut at the Cylinder Head with 9 nm (8 inch lbs.) torque.
