The egr valve pipe requires disconnection when its nut is loosened at the Exhaust Manifold position. First install the egr pipe then tighten its nut to 60 n.m (44 lb ft). After lowering the vehicle secure the bolt near the water crossover housing by torquing it to 24 n.m (18 lb ft).
