How to replace the EGR valve on 2001 Chevrolet Astro?

In order to install the EGR valve, disconnect the negative battery wire and take out the air cleaner assembly. Record the EGR valve position and then detach the harness, loosen the flange bolts and then remove the valve with the gasket. Make sure that the installation is properly oriented, reconnect the harness and replace the air cleaner.
