The first step to disconnect the negative Battery Cable begins with recording vehicle preset radio stations along with the customer's radio theftlock(R) code if installed. Make sure all lights along with accessories are off and the Ignition Switch points toward off before beginning. Begin the Battery Cable disconnection process by removing the negative Battery Cable bolt after following necessary safety guidelines. Begin installation by cleaning the battery terminal contact face and Battery Cable with a wire brush then fasten the negative Battery Cable bolt to 15 n.m torque while maintaining a 11 lb ft tightness. Turn the Ignition Switch to acc position and perform radio theftlock(R) protocol if necessary. Reprogram the radio to its previous stations using the key before setting the clock to the current time then removing the key.
