How to replace the negative battery cable on Chevrolet Camaro? Posted by Customer
    A:
The battery replacement process begins by removing the battery followed by removing the Battery Cable ground bolt on the wheelhouse and dismounting the Battery Cable clip from the accumulator bracket. Detach the negative cable from both the engine block stud and the vehicle while removing the negative cable nut at the engine block stud. Installation starts with cable attachment to the vehicle followed by the engine block stud where you should read and follow the fastener notice in service precautions. Screw and tighten the negative cable nut to the engine block stud until it reaches 22 n.m (16 lb ft). Begin by clamping the Battery Cable clip onto the accumulator bracket followed by attaching the ground lead before screwing the ground terminal bolt into the wheelhouse and tightening it to 16 n.m (12 lb ft) then put the battery back in place.
