Draining the cooling system should be your first step followed by taking off the Radiator support before starting the surge tank inlet hose replacement process. Start by relocating the surge tank inlet hose clamp on the surge tank before you take out the surge tank inlet hose from the tank. You must move the hose clamp on the Radiator next to remove the inlet hose from the Radiator. Before installation apply clean coolant on the inside surface of the inlet hose for proper lubrication. After positioning the hose clamp at the Radiator, attach the surge tank inlet to the Radiator. After you connect the surge tank inlet hose to the surge tank you can secure the clamp in place. Reinstall the Radiator support before proceeding to fill the cooling system.
