How to replace the rear Ride Height Sensor for the electronic suspension on 2001 Chevrolet Corvette?

The first step to replace the rear position sensor for electronic suspension requires a vehicle safety stand and Ignition Switch off position. First disconnect the tire and wheel assembly and then remove the position sensor connector while taking off the position sensor harness retainers. The technician should disconnect the position sensor link from its attachment to the control arm link stud before removing the position sensor mounting bolts which enable extraction of the sensor from the vehicle. Place the new position sensor within the vehicle and then follow the fastener notice in service precautions for assembly. Screw in the position sensor mounting bolts then fasten them to 7 nm (62 inch lbs.). Connect the position sensor harness with its retainers while rejoining the position sensor link to the control arm link stud and attaching the position sensor connector. Complete the procedure by reinstalling the tire with its wheel assembly followed by performing a vehicle descent.
