How to replace the EGR valve on 2001 Chevrolet Express 3500?

In order to replace the EGR valve, switch off the ignition and take out the air cleaner assembly, keeping the position of the EGR valve in mind. Loosen harness connector, without using liquid cleaners. Take off EGR valve bolts without dismantling it. Wipe down the gasket surface, replace the gasket and reattach the harness. Install air cleaner assembly again.
