Replacement of the right Exhaust Manifold (5.7L) requires removing the Exhaust Pipe from the Exhaust Manifold this is followed by engine cover removal after disconnecting the air cleaner assembly and oil level indicator tube. Sealing surfaces should be cleaned after taking out the Exhaust Manifold. Installation of the exhaust system requires working from the Exhaust Manifold then installing the oil level indicator tube and finally mounting the Exhaust Pipe to the Exhaust Manifold. Put back the air cleaner assembly together with the engine cover as the last step.
