How to replace the Body Control Module (BCM) on 2001 Chevrolet Impala?

Before starting work you need to disconnect the battery negative terminal. Then take out the left instrument panel insulator while disconnecting electrical connectors bcm numbers 2 3 and 4. The replacement process starts with fitting the new bcm unit into position before connecting the bcm electrical cables (2,3,4). Reseat the left instrument panel insulator then join the battery ground cable. Complete the bcm replacement process according to its requirements.
