How to replace the power mirror switch on 2001 Chevrolet Impala?

Begin power mirror switch replacement by taking out the present front door pull cup from the front door inner trim panel. The power mirror switch requires removal of its electrical connectors then a small flat-bladed tool can release the mirror control switch retainer to extract the switch from the front door pull cup. Installation includes pressing the new power mirror switch into the front door pull cup until it reaches full seat position followed by reattachment of electrical connectors before reattaching the front door pull cup to the front door trim panel.
