In order to change the heater core, drain down the coolant and remove both heater hoses. Eliminate the instrument panel insulators, knee bolster bracket and bottom-heater duct. Removal of the heater core involves removal of the heater core cover and the bolts. Install the new heater core, reconnect parts and recooling system.
