How to replace the Motor and Transmission Mount on 2001 Chevrolet Lumina?

To replace the A/T Mount, there is a need to dismantle first the transaxle bracket. Next, remove the transaxle mount lower nuts, which are under the transaxle mount frame bracket, and then remove the transaxle mount from the frame bracket. In regards to installation, place the transaxle mount onto the frame bracket while being sure to adhere to the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Mount to the frame bracket the transaxle mount lower nuts and tighten them to 47 Nm (35 ft. lbs.). Lastly, remount the transaxle bracket onto the transaxle.
