How to replace the front side door hinge on 2001 Chevrolet Prizm?

The replacement process of the front side door hinge begins with fender removal. One must take out individual hinges separately to prevent door misalignment. Remove both door to hinge bolts and hinge to door jamb bolts from the front side of the vehicle before extracting the upper or lower hinge. Attach the hinge to the door jamb before fastening it with 2 bolts while keeping them loose at this time. The Fastener Notice requires proper attention. Fitter should install the 2 door to hinge bolts followed by a tightening process of all hinge bolts to 34 N.m (25 lb ft). After completing these procedures on the opposite hinge, reinstall both the fender components.
