How to replace the rear side door hinge on Chevrolet Prizm?

First open the front side door before beginning replacement of the rear side door hinge where you should disconnect each hinge one at a time to prevent alignment issues. The first task is to take out the pair of door to hinge bolts from positions 3 or 5 combined with the pair of hinge to door jamb bolts found at positions 1 or 7. You should withdraw either an upper section or lower section of the hinge from the vehicle. Secure the door jamb hinge (2 or 6) then tighten its position with two door jamb bolts (1, 7) while leaving them somewhat loose. You should follow the instructions present in the Fastener Notice section within Cautions and Notices. You should now install the 2 door to hinge bolts (3 or 5) while tightening all hinge bolts to 34 N.m (25 lb ft). Repetition might be needed to eliminate and install the opposite hinge prior to shutting the front side door.
