How to replace the power window switch in the right front door on 2001 Chevrolet Prizm?

A taped flat bladed tool helps users disconnect the front side door accessory switch mounting plate from the front side door trim before replacing the right front door power window switch. First disconnect the electrical connector of the front side door power window switch. Then take out the switch from the mounting plate by releasing the tabs. Begin the installation process by inserting the front side door power window switch onto the accessory switch mounting plate through a process where retaining tabs must be properly engaged. The electrical connector requires reinstallation followed by placing the front side door trim accessory switch mounting plate back in its original position.
