How to replace the console shift linkage boot on 2001 Chevrolet Prizm?

In order to change the console shift boot, the transaxle control lever manual knob should first be removed by turning it counterclockwise. Then move the boot upwards to remove it off the retainer. Un screw the retaining tabs and take off the boot retainer. To install, lace the boot to the retainer and screw-in the knob.
