How to replace the auxiliary negative battery cable on 2001 Chevrolet Suburban 1500?

To replace the aux. negative battery cable, start by removing the aux. negative battery cable clips from the studs situated at the front of the dash and disconnect the aux. negative cable. Then, before you take out the auxiliary negative battery cable, clear the engine sight shield and engine wiring harness/auxiliary negative battery cable bolt together. During installation, locate the engine wiring harness ground terminal on top and inboard of the auxiliary negative battery cable ground crimp and install the auxiliary negative battery cable. Next, attach the engine wiring harness/auxiliary negative battery cable bolt and tighten it to 16 N.m (12 lb ft). Finally, replace the engine sight shield and hook up the auxiliary battery cable clips to the studs at the front of the dash along with reattaching the auxiliary negative battery cable.
